	absolutely...coulter, nicholson, lyons, bubba abell, what a team! - who was the point guard, fuzzy hair, good shooter? I attended MSU from 73-77 - coulter was all-american the year before i started there by the way, i watched them beat Eastern tonight 62-53, great game!

	i am not sure about the guard you mention i had some classes. with him i think his name was bill something . hard to remeber 30 years ago. i remember abell interestin g and hustling ball player.

	Yep...howard wallen is right, i remember him now...MSU was on ESPNU this past saturday and beat tenn-martin 81-79 in OVC game...4-4 in ovc now with two winnable games at home this week - go eagles!

	Yeah...Lake Kelly (coach of AP) tried to take Fly out of the game, and he refused to go to the bench! He was a terrific offensive plaeyr, maybe one of the best ever in the OVC. I know a lot of people around here (i moved to Morehead after college) who still remember the "coulter days" of MSU basketball. The new coach, Donnie Tyndall, played here in the 80s and has a great sense of history about msu b-ball. He really wants to retunr us to those glory days...he's gotten some very good recruits this year and for next year..we'll see...

	hey guys whats up? I was reading you guys reminiscing and it got me thinking about when i used to go to the MSU games with my cousin in the early 80s I was preteens and it was my intro to ncaa b-ball and I loved it itwas good times. That was when BIG Bob Mcann played, Martin was coach, and I remember like it was yesterday we were playing Marshall all tied up like 4 seconds to go MSU threw the ball in from the baseline Mcann went off a screen and dunked for the win it was awesome to see for a 12 year old boy sittin down by the floor. Dont get to go to games now I live in Ohio but as you see Istill check in. Love UK and MSU hoops always will. Talk to ya later
