Lady Basket Ball Fans Whose Your Team?

UCF Knights, baby.  10, count them, 10 fressmen on the team.  They may not set the world on fire this year, but give them a year and lets see what happens.

I went to UCF and live close enough to go to all the womens games and even have tickets tothe C-USA conference championship weekend.  It may not be mens b-ball but it is fun.  And the women on the team really appreciate the fans.  Mostly because there are not as many of us.

LSU Lady Tigers, been following them forever

Wondering if they'll continue mo thru end of season, tournies (SEC & NCAA) and make it back to their 5 straight Final 4 - and win it all this year.  They have 9 Seniors on the team and could do it all in '08.  Tough competition ahead, tho.

My favorite ladies NCAA team is the UNC Tarheels!  I grew up in NC and pull for all Tarheel teams but these players really have a great game.

I also, however, really enjoy watching the UTEP Miners for the past couple years.  This is a team with no real positive history but they are surely writing some now.  At 21-2 and 12-0 in CUSA, they are poised to claim their first ever conference title and hang a banner in the rafters of the Don Haskins Center for the first time in history.  They have 5 starters who each average at least 9.6 points per game and they play extremely well as a team.  If you haven't heard about them, you should check them out.  ESPN.com just ran a big article on them this weekend and they are definitely for real.  Good luck to Coach Adams and the team!  Go Miners!!
