As a formal liberal Dem, I always defended them and open borders, etc.  Now I can see a DD's points (probably always could understand)  Just did like Mystico, and Carolina, always pretending to "not get it."

Gays-  Worked with two gay guys as my partners for 10+ years.  Not very anti-gay.  They both thought the marriage deal was absurd, meaning they had no such desire, but me, being Joe Lib Dem,  was always jumping up and down for the "right."  Of course, I didn't like it when they embezzled 70 grand and went to Thailand.  The new church says, the Bible says homosexuality is a sin, but they don't seem to find it any worse than any other sin.  Their point is, Jesus died for our sins, or none of us would make it upstairs.

Re Radical Islam;

My point was nothing to do with Obama.  I said long ago, that I accepted Obama's Phoney Christian church.  It was just Carolina, as usual trying to drive people away from Obama, really as if he still was a Dittohead, suspicious, so I thought why not, for the sake of argument play the fake Christian card on Obama.  The Dittohead calls me fakechristian in every post.  Just applying his "logic."  If I am a fake, how about politician Obama?

Regarding Indonesia-  It has, and has long had, the world's largest Muslim population.

I was there in the 80's.  Didn't get my head chopped off, but there were some pretty dark moments.  One guy spit in my face.  Another time, group of guys tried to kill us, An Aussie, a Canadian, and me.  And Jakarta/ Java was way hardcore Muslim.

My point never had anyting to do with Obama but Iraq.  This Run from al Qaeda in Iraq to only fight them in Afghanistan fantasy.  Just so wrong and so weird.

Regarding Hagee, not McCain's pastor.  And repudiated.

1. One of the main reasons the Protestant movement began was becasue so many Chrisitians thought the Catholic church was the great whore of Babylon described in Revelation, including Martin Luther and John Calvin.   Silly for Catholics to pretend they never heard this and are so offended.  During a class, Hagee said, "Some have said..." like Martin Luther, Calvin, etc. = total non-issue.
2. People asked how could God allow Katrina to destroy a city and kill people?  Well, H said there are examples in the Bible.  Soddom & Gomorrah- a city detroyed by God and all the people killed for homosexuality.  My point-  Can a Minister not even quote the Bible?  He's supposed to say, Gee, I dunno, no nothing in the bible on point...?
3. Hitler- Myst worst quoter or paraphraser of all time.  Nobody said Hitler was right.  He was wrong, obviously.  But if you think about it, he created Israel.  Palastine was a desert.  The Jews were in Europe, no real desire to head to a desert surrounded by hostile Arabs.  Well after Hitler, they went to that desert surrounded by hostile Arabs and created Israel.

#1 = fact

#2 = Telling somebody what the Bible said. 

#3 = explaining how something happened.  And the only charge you could possibly make is that the remark is anti-Semitic, but Hagee is so pro-Jew, Pro-Israel, it isn't even funny.  See his website.  Book, etc.

Lastly, he is very soft-spoken, and appologized for all 3 comments.  Sorry to the Catholics, sorry to Gays, sorry about talking about Hitler.  I heard him say all 3 on Prager's show, a Jew, and Prager said he understood all 3 comments, and did not condemn them.  It was an hour long interview.

Rev.  Wright, Yelled and screamed crazier things not based on the Bible, not based on common sense, and never appologized but kept amping it up to hurt Obama.  Wright is a madman, but why did Obama sit there for twenty years?

I have a long storied history of dealings with illegals, and still do.  This is a fact.

But it seems to me we do need border security at this point.

And some people need to be sent home.  I think this is McCain's position, if you can be fair for a moment.

I support McCain.  As I supported Clinton/Clinton/Gore/Kerry.  I am glad I joined the GOP.  Do I agree with all their views?  No.

Did I agree with all the Dem's views?  no.

Here goes fakechritianpapa, just being fakechristianpapa.  Do I agree with all of Hillary's views?  Obviously not.  You're just making a bs claim that I agree with Obama and the Dem's 100%.  Thing is, just like the GOP, not all GOP members agree on everthing, either do the Dems.  Great thought though, fakechristianpapa, yet again.
