Barack is taking it to Beaverton.

That's something we all hope to do on a regular basis. You know Hillary's husband is.

15 of 19 hijackers on 9/11 were from Saudi Arabia.  I am just saying there is something going on if more than 75% of them came from Saudi Arabia

Remember 15 of 19 were Saudi's

www.usatoday.com/news/world/2002/02/06/saudi.htm

news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/3815179.stm

www.cnn.com/2002/US/11/23/saudi.fbi.911/

There is more of a Saudi connection to 911 than an Iraq connection.

Since you are a vet who actually served over there.. then you are also very aware of where they recruit from and where they train. Are you sure you don't want to retract that statement? Think long and hard on this one Pats... it's going to play a major role in your credibility here...

McCain... great man in 2000... what happened?

McCain interrupted a voter during a townhall meeting in New Hampshire telling him we should "make it a hundred" years in Iraq and "that would be fine with me." After the townhall meeting, he told a reporter "that U.S. troops could be in Iraq for 'a thousand years' or 'a million years,' as far as he was concerned." The cost of the current actions in Iraq has boomed from $50 billion to $1.2 trillion. Enough to pay for universal health care, universal preschool and implementing every recommendation of the 9/11 commission, and still have more than $50 billion left.Didn't you just accuse Papa of doing what you just did here? You copied and pasted from an obviously biased site that only prints partial truths to paint an ugly picture. What McCain said concerning 100years was nothing like what is pictured here. He was speaking of a 'presence' there, not an occupation.. and he made that very clear in the next few sentences after what is quoted here. We have presence in many countries and certainly after an occupation such as what has happened in Iraq we have the responsibility to maintain a presence there. Once again.. being a vet you KNOW this.. why do you continue to bring up points that you know are wrong?

it's hard to believe that with a population of around 300 million these are the best 3 presidential candidates out there. an old man, a wh0re, and a stupid   'er. pick your poison, but for me i'll pick the one who has done the most positive in his lifetime.

IIPapa, I haven't been able to figure this out either, all these Islamo-facists talk big but yet they hide behind skirts and little children when its time to face the music.  To top it off the Arab world puts manhood at the pinnacle of its society.  Had the US and World media been fighting this war alongside our bravest and best, by calling the Jihadists out for what they are, little cowardly girly men, brutal murdering thugs, maggots, etc., perhaps recruitment  in that organization would have been alot harder.  Instead our friends in the media all but romantisize this bunch of slug s*%t to the point where they were the freedom fighters.

Right on, GB. It is about manhood and being warriors, when they are bunch of cowardly pu$$ies that hide behind women and children. Oh yeah, they hide weapons inside of mosques and hole themselves up inside, since the Geneva Convention says you can't attack or bomb holy sites(rightfully so). They're just smarter than us in some cases, knowing that the rest of the world, especially the evil USA, have to play by a set of rules. They don't wear a uniform, so the rules don't apply. They don't have rights, should not get due process. Yet, we have a bunch of liberals, some of which are Senators, that say they do have civil liberties and call us the terrorists. They must just laugh at us, sometimes. We were labeled the "paper tiger" because of our "response" to terrorism under Clinton.

Now that I vented, I would love to see Osama get his, he certainly will in hell, anyway. It's not imperative. We are kicking their asses and killing scores of them(pay attention). When we seem to kill the #2 or #3 Al-Qeada leader or the leader of AQ in Iraq repeatedly, it means that we're killing whoever got "promoted" to whatever "rank" they call it.

Sadly, I believe when we do get Bin Laden, there will be many Americans on a certain side of the aisle, and in the media, that will be disappointed. Truly sad.

Point #1.. your are 'guessing' he is not in Iraq. You have absolutely no real idea if this is true or not. Well seeing how there are 1/4 of a million troops there looking for him and cant find him and his last reported location was no where near Iraq I believe its pretty safe to say he is not in Iraq.
I still don't understand how you feel it ok to send our troops to Afghanistan but feel it is an outrage to leave them in Iraq.   Because they are being used as bait to draw out the terrorist as opposed to going to where the terrorists are located (several confirmed reports of Al queda in Afghanistan).  Let me know if you would like links to those reports from the news as well as the military.  Oh and I did mention other countries not just Afghanistan like Pakistan
http://www.dailytimes.com.pk/default.asp?page=2008%5C05%5C19%5Cstory_19-5-2008_pg7_8
and lets not forget the Al Queda training grounds in Afghanistan
http://www.nytimes.com/2008/05/20/world/middleeast/20briefs-yemen.html?ref=world
Obama claims the war should be in Afghanistan so you follow along.. This is what is known as speculation.
it's odd that Military Intelligence doesn't agree with Obama but yet you, a vet, still choose to believe someone with zero military experience over those you actually served under that are still fighting the fight.
Actually that is wrong....
Adm. Michael Mullen, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff said that violence in Afghanistan is increasing

Don't forget you are not the only one in here to be a vet and served your country over there. I enjoyed my military career and served proudly.. now I have the honor of being both a proud and petrified parent as my daughter heads over there as military intelligence. This whole idea you have of our troops being 'bait' is far fetched and nothing more than a political ploy by the Democrats. I'm still amazed a military vet could actually back this guy.I have never heard the democrats us the term 'using the troops as bait' that is just how I felt while I was there.  It has nothing to do with politics, but it has everything to do with personal experience.
