Cincy's Season

The Bearcats made a decent, but imperfect, showing against Pitt in a game UC could have won.

Thank God this season is over. Now we can all take a deep breath, let it out, and hopefully let this season go for a while before we start worrying about next season.

NIT? Maybe next year.

Congrats, 'Cats, on putting up a valiant fight most games. I think, toward the end, you just ran out of gas. Let's hope next year is better.

what are you taslking about cincy in the nit? i think at best we should be a 12th seed in the dance, get in, knock off a 5,and then lose in the second round.

This was originally posted about a month ago, so just relax.  Cincy had their major slide at the end of the season, and prior to that, I would've said they would make the NIT.  Obviously, now, there's no chance.  The won't make the CBB Tourney either.  It's really unfortunate that the season had to end the way it did, with 6 straight losses, lowlighted by a 45 point beat down by the Huskies.  The team really did improve this year as a whole, but there is a bad taste in everyone's mouths now because of the horrible end to the season.  Overall, it was still an improvement from last year, and I dare say the future looks bright.  Nothing wrong with being cautiously optimistic.

if you are asking for real if we are playing in the nit then no. imo we had to atleast win 3 at the tourney just to put us on the bubble for the nit.
