Playing down to the level of their opponents, and occasionally beating the top dogs in their house, yet a medioce final record is inevitable. My goodness, when the Jays start playing basketball?

Now that I think about, the Leafs are the same too. What the hell is wrong with Toronto sports?

The last sentence in my original post was meant to read, "When did the Jays start playing basketball?"

I realize it could have been confusing, my bad.

You are so right about what you are saying and really that is the last thing I would have thought at the beginning of this year with the Raptors. They are a really good team in a very weak conference and should atleast be 10 games above .500,for crying out loud you have a team in 8th place with a record of 26-33 that just not right.

Yeah Raptors are on the verge of giving me an aneurism, I dont even know if I can watch the Magic massacre the raps on the boards, at least with Bosh playing we always have a chance. I think were missing Jorge Garbajosa more than I wouldve ever thought, and last year's success had a lot to do with his gritty style of play. btw, anyone else just done with Jamario Moon? He cant guard anyone and isnt consistent offensively...

Now that I think about, the Leafs are the same too. What the hell is wrong with Toronto sports? The leafs only start ripping off wins when theyre last in the conference, as soon as they get close they are losing again, only to end up as the 9th or 10th seed and screw us in the draft... and as far as Toronto sports, the jays won in 92 and 93 so were not too bad, think of Philadelphia winning their last title in 1983 with 76ers and Cleveland who havent won since the browns in the 60s.

I'm out

We haven't had a championship contender since the Jays in the early 90s, which is sad. I don't even know that much about hockey (ok I know nothing about it) and even I know the Leafs suck, and will suck as long as they keep living in the past (ie, Sundin).

Oh I'm also a Bills fan, so yea.

btw, anyone else just done with ?
Yep, I'm done. Threw my towel in when Chuck was trying to yet again to find a nickname for a marginal player i.e-Red Rocket, Banger Bros (Robert Archibald and Lonny Baxter), and Hoffa.
Yes dunks and blocks are good and all, but Moon's numbers are marginal at best and he's not the raining 3 point champ. As Bosh4Prez mentioned in another post, Jason Kapono should be getting the majority of the minutes.

As for Toronto's sports... the Argos and the Rock have been quite successful so we can't discredit them. But for the most part, I agree, Jays-Raps-Leafs have underachieved for far too long!
