Just out of curiousity how do you ute fans think Boylen did this year?  Do you think he should come back next year?

Compared to Giacoletti he's a big step up.  However, we're still not where we want to be with the program, but rebuilding takes time, so yes I'm glad to see him back.  Also after Giac it's nice to see a coach with some emotion, sometimes Boylen gets a little "over emotional" but the guy is just so into the sport and his team.  I'm not sure if well ever be back to the kind of team we were in the 90's, but at least Boylen has the ship pointed in the right direction again.

Yes! By all means he should be back next year! I am not sure anyone expected a massive one year turnaround, but there has been a great deal of improvement.

Just finished watching the Utah-UNLV game, and I thought the team looked young and inexperienced. Give them some more time playing together under Boylen's system and they will only improve.

The guy knows how to coach because he has been there. Give him some time. It appears that we have a great recruiting class coming up. I love how he cleaned up the program this season to get the right faces in there. He was the right move when they hired him and he will rebuild this program back to a power, just give him time.

I'd have to agree, we will take him back with hopes to keep moving in the right direction.

They had a good tournament run this past week. Beating New Mexico, and almost taking out UNLV. I wish they had, would have loved to see BYU-Utah round 3. Would have been a good game on a neutral court with both teams having some momentum.

Just tired of watching UNLV in the title game every dang year because we play the tourney on their court when they aren't the regular season conference champs. Either play it at the home of the regular season champ, or play on a totally neutral court. Like when they used to play in Denver.

Can't wait for next season already! He has grabbed some good recruits to fit his system, and I know next season will be better!

With the players that Gacoletti recruited, I think Boylen did pretty well. I would have liked to see them beat BYU but I guess we will just have to wait till next season.
