If the Boston Celtics - The best team overall  in  the NBA - want to beat the Houston Rockets - The best team these past 22 games - they're going to have to suck up the fact that Ray Allen won't be there to shoot 3's, take advantage of the loss of You, and bang inside hard with Kendrick Perkins. He failed to score a point in Monday night's game, so look for the big guy to make shots, and don'tbe surprised if he gets a 20 point game( Do it for my fantasy team and make me proud Kendrick :)). They also can't be afraid to shoot those3's , and they'll look for players like Sam - I - am (Sam Cassell) James Posey, Eddie House, and maybe even Rajon Rondo to do that. I am going to say Paul Pierce will struggle, Kevin Garnett will have a decent game, and a player that is not from the Boston Tea party - Most likely Kendrick Perkins or Rajon Rondo - will make a big impact in tonights game. This gameshould be decided by 6 points are less if Rajon Rondo has a good game.

The Celtics played great tonight. One of their best defensive efforts all season. They held the Rockets to just 41% from the field and only allowed Tracy McGrady to take 11 shots! Their defense in the 2nd half was just smothering forcing turnovers left and right. The Rockets really had no inside offense besides Luis Scola and every single perimeter shot was contested.

Our offense flowed so smoothly. Paul Pierce just could not be stopped. He was driving and dishing the ball at will. And how about Leon Powe stepping up big with 21 off the bench. Wow just an incredible game.

On a side note, the Celtics will most likely break the record for biggest turn around in terms of plus wins between two seasons. The record I believe is held at 36 by the Spurs if I saw the telecast right.

Next up, Dallas.

We messed with Texas and ripped its heart out! So much for the Texas triangle The last time we swept the Texas triangle was in 1987. WOW.

Great game though. Rajon Rondo and Sam Cassell struggled mightily but Paul Pierce, James Posey and Kevin Garnett picked up the slack. Close game tonight but once again our team showed great resiliency. It's really nice to have Ray Allen back, regardless of how effective he was, what a clutch shot. But he should work his way back into the rotation just fine.

We have one more tough game New Orleans before the men in green make a home stand against Philadelphia, Phoenix and New Orleans again.

GO CELTS!

This was a good week for the Celtics.  I am suprised that they man handled the Rockets like they did.  I tuned into the game like most of you all.  I was expecting to see a close game, and it was in the first half but Boston's defense really shut them down in the second half.  Although KG is a great player and The celtics should be happy with his individual performance he is making everyone else around him better.  Paul Pierce has never been known for his defensive prowess.  Since KG has come into the picture Pierce has fed off of KG's defensive abilities and stepped up his own to match KG. Keep up the defense!!!
