I have tons o' excuses. I am going with officials this time. The home court officiating this year, not only in the WCC but all over the NCAA, has been worse than I have ever seen in the 20+ years I have watched. God dammit, let them play ball!
Brandon Johnson was amazing though. Thanks for all but ruining a fun season USD! You guys won, and I think would probably win 7 of 10 games at home versus SMC. Neutral court, I give it to SMC 7 or 8 out of 10.
Only one thing can make up for it, a 1st round NCAA win. That is, if SMC even makes it to the NCAA.
I hope USD gets blown out by 20 tonight.

Ok but i said it in other post it wasnt the officials they were inconsistant on both ends Simpson commited 8 fouls but on one he doesnt commit a foul they call it for his 5th every time Simpson runs someone over its a foul on my usd toreros im proud of my team i honestly think the officails were bad on both sides also there is no way Gonzaga wins by double figures i predict USD 66 Gonzaga 64. Also i agree oficiating has been horrible all year long if you knew you would know im a college basketball fanatic and the home court officiating advantage has been horrible all year long.

1) My congratulations go out to USD and Coach Grier. Great job, nice team, neat story
2) Sdfan is still a troll with the IQ of a fence post. Stop acting like you are part of the team, have anything to do with the school or are responsible for USD's victory. You're just a petty troll that lacks maturity or intelligence.
3) USD isn't going to have home-field advantage in the NCAA Tourny. The fact that we keep hosting WCC tourneys at USD is not only ridiculous but highly unfair. Bring the WCC tourney to a Bay Area school and USD isn't a tourney team. We are going to Las Vegas in the future for a reason.

You guys are absolutely right, USD can't win away from home, I mean they totally lost to KEntuck..... oh wait, no they beat kentucky at RUPP. ooooo, well no they got destroyed by USC at a neutral court... oh wait, no it was very close. hmmm, the truth is our team plays to everyone's level, it is our curse but come tourney time it is a blessing for this underdog squad, thats how we lose to Marshall but beat Kentucky, ZAGS, and SMC twice. and im pretty sure we wont face CS Bakersfield in the tourney, WATCH OUT STANFORD, haha. and in defense of SDFAN, he was merely talking to one individual from your page who consistently comes to our page and writes inappropriate comments about our players. just calm down, I hope you guys make it to the tournament, WCC would gain so much exposure that way. good luck guys
the one thing we can all agree on, there is no parallel to the girls we have at USD, so no matter what happened at the tourney, or the Dance to come, my nights are much better than the rest of ya, i love life

Cable, you are completely and utterly missing the point. We gave props to USD and admired their nice run. This issue was concerning SDFAn, who has a massive history of trolling and being otherwise immature and obscene on the St. Mary's board. He is constantly making nasty/snarky, albeit unintelligent, remarks. Gael fans have class and don't go board to board trolling fellow WCC schools. Also, research before you talk smack- the offending party on your "board" is a Florida St. Fan.
And no, I'm not going to engage in the "Who's E-peen is bigger" type of discussion regarding schools.
