 why does tom penders have to suck so badly we lost to you guys again, I mean we play with no heart whatsoever, no way we should have lost, we were the last hope for c-usa getting multiple bids, now where a one bid lead, I don't get how you guys can be so happy about it, I mean you do want the c-usa to get stronger right??? Or do you only care about your team, thanks alot.

why don't you get mad at memphis for running the table in the reg. season.

The only question I can ask you is should UTEP have laid down and let Houston win? That makes no sense at all on your argument about make C-USA a stronger conference. You play to win, and Houston did not. Anyway I think UTEP, if they get to the finals with Memphis, will give a them a better game than Houston would have. I'm all for making the conference stronger and by the looks of it, UTEP will be a stronger team next year.

Texan4lyfe, are you for real, or are you just messing with us!!! How can you say UH would represent better than UTEP. Because UH  this season has a slightly better record. Don't forget we beat you x2 this year that should say whose the better team. UH might have a bigger following because of the size of  the city, but as far as history goes you can't even compare the two. When all else fails we still love are '66 MINERS only Texas university w/ a b-ball national crown.

You are kidding, right? We are not gloating! I'm a realist and I know we have a very young team, which is not very good. Yes they might get to 20 wins, but they were unable to pull off some very close losses. UTEP barely lost to Texas A&M, Memphis, New Mexico etc. So at best they are ok in our conference. But hey when your team wins, you have to be happy, that's just the way it is!!!!

Amen bro. Utep all the way!!! Lets all quit bitching because its all said and done and we beat Houston. I hope we take it to Tulsa and Memphis. hopefully southern miss. pulls an upset against Memphis ;), that would literally hand the tournament to Utep
