The real answer should be that Pronger should have gotten a much larger suspension, but you didn't give that choice in your poll.  He should have been suspended through the first round of the playoffs... at a minimum.

I think 8 games was a little much. Especially, when you consider that they weren't going to do anything about what occurred at first.

You can't let your emotions run like that.  Pronger seriously hurt our teams chances of finishing with home ice.  The Bergeron pick up at the deadline is looking better every day.

It's yes because you just shouldn't do it. It embarasses the NHL,Anaheim, and all the Ducks fans.

Pronger is a thug that puts cheap hits on players with the intent to injure.  His prior suspensions have not been a discouragement.  He needs to be suspended for at least the same length of time that a player sits out because of an injury he has caused.  He doesn't want an even fight.  He wants to hit players when they're defenseless with an elbow.
