I voted for you. That is a good story.
I have many favorite memories from NMSU basketball games, but I have a few funny ones that come to mind.
I remember NMSU playing UNM, maybe 1990. Luc Longley was at the free throw line. Just before he shoots the ball our Pistol Pete mascot pulls out his pistol and shoots off a very loud blank, and Luc tanks the free throw. Now that was funny.
I also remember Sam Crawford, maybe 1992, getting a steal and during a wide open fast break he pulls up at the 3-point line and nails a 3 point bucket. Now that was funny.
