I Hate to put you in your place Parrish, but you are wrong my compadre the NCAA tourney commitee does hate Memphis and has set them up for the last 3 years not 2 out of 3 years.
2006: UCLA in Oakland (Elite Eight)
2007: Texas A&M in San Antonio (Sweet Sixteen)
2008: Texas in Houston (Elite Eight)

Looking at the brackets for those three years, Memphis is the only 1 seed to play a number 2 in a hostile location and the only number 2 seed to play the 3 seed in a hostile location. It's not so bad that it happened to Memphis for 3 years, what makes it so bad is it has ONLY happened to Memphis.

Nol - it doesn't only happen to Memphis, but other teams find a way to win in a hostile environment. This is the best team Memphis has had in years, are you going to blame another early loss on a "hostile environment?"
Beat the teams you are supposed to beat. Save the excuses for another day.

It doesn't only happen to Memphis? Name one other 1 or 2 seed that has had to play a lower seed team in a hostile environment in the last three years? I don't see any, if there are, it's the result of a highly seeded team playing a cinderella... you can't count on cinderellas while making a bracket, you can count on 1/2 seed matchups though; Memphis is the only 1 or 2 seed to have been given hostile sites against lower seeeded teams in the last three years. Again, it didn't happen once, it happened three years in a row, and it only happened to Memphis.

Kansas had to go out to San Jose last year and play UCLA...that is pretty hostile.

Kansas had to go out to San Jose last year and play UCLA...that is pretty hostile.
Yes KU was a one seed and had to go to California to play the two seed UCLA in '07.
Memphis was a one seed and had to go out to California to play the two seed, again UCLA in '06.

Good call on Kansas going out to San Jose to face UCLA, I missed that one when i was looking over the brackets. So, it has happened four times in the last three years, three times to Memphis and one to Kansas. Still looks like Memphis gets the shaft year in and year out. It also looks like UCLA gets the hook up year in and year out. Two conspiracies in one!

My friend Mr G0_Hawkeyes that is a decent point you made, except for one thing they did not play in San Jose against UCLA it was some other team which KU beat. Instead Kansas played UCLA in Saint Louis, which if I can read a map properly is no were near California.
NO HOME COURT ADVANTAGE FOR UCLA!!!

Florida played Oregon in St. Louis last season. Kansas played UCLA in San Jose. Also, Texas A&M was a 3 seed and got to play 6 seed Louisville in Lexington.

St. Louis is a bit of a stretch don't ya think? It is closer to Florida but not close enough to warrant discussion. Second, Florida should have gotten a closer game because they were the 1 seed. Third, St. Louis isn't close enough to Oregon to warrant discussion so that one is debunked :D

Just stop all the Damn whinning because all i have heard all season is how great the Memphis tigers are and they deserve to be the #1 overall seed in the tourney. I see it this way, it is time to put up or shut the f**k up. UNC is in the toughest bracket out of the four and i am quite happy about it because all year people have questioned our schedule and it will be our pleasure to walk right through this tourney and claim our trophy. Nobody and i mean nobody will stop that from happening so just quit with the excuses and go out and play and win or just go the f**k home and schedule some harder teams next year and oh work on those Free throws(they are free).... UNC is not in the toughest bracket. That is clearly the South. UNC is a great team and they can talk about a NC all they want, I say you have to get by the Vols first.
I am not a Vols fan by any means, but they are an excellent team and UNC better show them respect or they will be showing UNC the door.
