He said Syracuse wasn't just led by its freshman star Carmelo Anthony but had help from others like Hakim Warrick and Gerry McNamara. Just thought I'd point it out that McNamara was a freshman that year too. I know its miniscule but I'm a Syracuse fan and I don't like when people mess up their information.

Speaking of Syracuse, this is more like an oversight. How can an article be written listing the best freshmen in the nation in the beginning, and touch on the Big East without mentioning the conference's apparent Freshman of the Year, Donte Green? I'm not even a 'Cuse fan, just happen to follow the Big East.

He didn't say that McNamara wasn't a frosh. He was making the point that McNamara was another quality player that was on that team and he helped take pressure off of Melo. Maybe we were reading a different article.

Another mistake was listing Bill Walker. He was a freshman last year for K-State.

The information really wasn't messed up. Parrish just didn't mention that McNamara was a freshman. Good win last night. Can Syracuse make the finals?

Bill Walker played in 6 games and messsed up his knee and was given a medical redshirt, thus making him  a "freshman" this year.  He has been considered a freshman all year.

Yeah I'm a 'Cuse fan too but he didn't make any mistakes -- they were "led" by G Mac because he was their point guard and he hit six first half 3's in the championship game.

You're nitpicking over nothing here man.
