shuless joe, I have a question about the voting scoring.  Lets say one guy has 60% of the vote, the other 40%,would the guy with 60% get the whole 20 points designated to the scoring category, or would he get 12 point (60% of 20) and the other guy get 8 points (40% of 20)?

Oh My! Glad I don't have to figure the math.

If anyone wants to see a thread where this kind of math might be relevant look at the link at the bottom of this page.

I am out and stumping for votes, having a mid major school Belmont  instead of a SEC or powerhouse school is a challenge.

I picked  Belmont that all were passing up as I did not want a Tennessee school to have no representation.

IF anyone has a moment I am involved in a tight fight  and   looks like it will end up going down to the last minute. I am JusSaySue/Belmont going against the Mighty Dook. Critique is appreciated and votes are fantastic.

He's busy as a one-armed paper hanger with the management of one-fourth of the first round Challenge -- no way he's going to get to all the replies on this board.

I think I have the answer to your question about the vote scoring. The 20 points are pro-rated. I saw some scores of less than 20 on the initial grading report. This probably means a pretty even split (10 pts +/-2) since the results I've seen so far are very close. If you really need a definitive answer, he did answer my PM, so you may reach him that way.

I am doing nearly all of the work for this event...plus my real job .  The score would be a 12. the math is this: Your percentage divided by 5. That way, if you get 100 percent of the vote, you get the maximum 20 points.

thanks joe, I am in a 50/50 match so I wanted to make sure I wouldn't lose by 20 if I lost by 1 vote
