I agree the lowly Pennsylvania 2A's did nothing to prepare Pryor to win the Army All American game MVP.  Idiot.

Previous winners? Chris Wells, Desean Jackson, Ted Ginn Jr., Chris Leak and yes the mighty Vince Young.

There are a lot of Buckeyes on that list!

Don't forget Adrian Peterson was also an Army All American game MVP.  And we know how bad AP sucks in the NFL!  I mean, he only broke the single game rushing record in his rookie season.  I guess the Army All American game must showcase losers.  (Much sarcasm was intended, folks)

billis,

i applauded you so much for making that statement....im from western pa and im tired of ppl making excuses about the level of competition....the numbers he put up were in halfs...jeannette mercied (35 pt lead) almost every team it faced and he almost never saw a 4th quarter...

i love that ppl seem to skim over the fact that he took mvp honors in that game....johnathan baldwin also played in that game and caught a td pass, he also plays aa ball and is considered to be the number one te....so so much for they talent level to be weak....whatever....

Idiot, you are the idiot. How about winnng and not chocking! I can't decide who is worse Ohio St or Oklahoma. Tressel is a joke. How can anyone lose with more talent! My God! A monkey should have back to back titles. Can't wait to see how bad they chock with Pryor.  Well if Pryor is as good as his ego then he should the best athlete in the history of the world! Time will tell, but I bet he ends up being overrated and probably doesn't make the NFL! Oh how about beating an SEC team sometime! HAHA We winchampionships down here!

If you're going to call someone an idiot, at least spell the word "choke" correctly when doing so.  You morons in Tenn. should have that word memorized forward, backwards, and sideways.

Lowly PA 2A's? haha, Jennette played in single A for the first three years of Pryor's HS career. They were only 2A this past year. Running past PA single and double A talent is easy when you have his athletic ability (I would know, i played 2A football in PA) but the talent level is a much more balanced in DI football. In single and double A football all you need is 1-3 really good players to win big, AKA Jennette. We shall see how Mr. Pryor's game translates over to the Big Ten.

Well Ajwood, you obviously have no idea what you're talking about.  The following is a bracket of the WPIAL AA play-offs three seasons ago.  (2005) You'll see they lost in the first round against Mohawk.

http://www.wpial.org/stuff/05_ftb_2-a_brackets.pdf

Jeannette has been single A much of the past half century according to enrollment but has always opted to play up in class.

Last season's Jeannette team, would have beat half of the AAA teams in the WPIAL and probably 6 to 8 of the AAAA teams.

Being from Greenville you probably played in District 10 which is not close to the WPIAL's level of competition.  Ask Wilmington who was ranked pre-season #1 and lost to semi-finalist Ford City.

Pryor will be just fine.

roarlion,

you are absolutly correct...

jeannette's boy enrollment puts it in class a status, however it plays up in all sports....its been this way for at least the last 10 years, probably 20.....
