Felix Jones will be a great compliment to Marion Barber. All the other needs can be addressed later on in the draft.

By know means am I a Cowboy fan since I bleed 49er colors.  However, I am a die hard football fan and participating in this interactive poll.  I think Dallas is set on both sides of the ball accoding to the stats posted.  I would infact draft a WR since TO is getting up in age and Terry Glenn injury prone and up there in age himself.  Dallas has an ANIMAL at RB in Marion Barber so drafting a RB would not make since in the first round.  Pac-Man may be joining Da Boys so DB is not a need if that falls thru.  They could use help a DL as the Packers carved up that D right through the middle by running but picking so late in round 1 would not land any prospects with value at the current order.  So Manningham would be the obvious choice with aging receivers.

The Boys will select  Manningham ..... always looking for the next play maker.

I think they need to get a wide out first.  First reason is that the average age of the receiver are needless to say up there.  Jenkins will still be there because the other teams picking between the Cowboys draft in the first round doesn't not need a cornerback.

The jury is still out for me on Barber, for one simple fact.  Endurance!!!  Knowing that he will now get the rock more often as a starter, let's see how well he trained in the off season.  Look at the game against the Giants in the playoffs.  Barber was tired by the end of the 3rd quarter.   Alot of the great running back excel in the 3rd and 4th quarter, and that include the NFL career rushing leader Emmitt Smith.

The San Francisco 49ers are on the clock....

True, Barber hasn't carried a full workload of a season. That doesn't justify spending the 22nd overall pick on a rb that you know will only tote a quarter to a third of the carries. A back in the second round, like a Ray Rice or a Jammal Charles in the third. There are prospects in the 2nd & 3rd round that could come in and carry a small portion. Dallas needs to utilize their first two picks in the first round addressing corner (w/or w/out Pacman) and wideout. Ofcourse, and this applies to every team, if an unexpected prospect slides that has super great value they should take him.

It seems to me that a lot of people making picks don't have a clue about football or the draft. look at the votes. someone who is an Eagles fan is voting for San Francisco's pick and doesn't have a clue what SF really needs. Rivers was picked for Detroit at #15 and their is no way in Heellll Detroit will pick this guy. How he got voted for was not by any means selected by all real Detroit fans. This thread is severely handicapped and doesn't by any means reflect what teams will do.

I say Mario Manningham. I know it seems counter-intuitive for the Cowboys to work on their offense when they scored almost 30 points a game last year, but their two primary passing weapons, Owens and Glenn, are going to be 35. Owens may act y oung, but remember, he once lined up opposite Jerry Rice, when Rice was GOOD! My point is this both Owens and Glenn hav elegs with plenty of mileage. I think Jerry Jones brings in Manningham here to rejuvenate a seriously veteran receiver corps. Besides, Jerry Jones just loves big name players. And Manningham was certainly that at Michigan.
