Can you believe the Redskins are actually offering money that is being rejected????  Reche Caldwell and D.J. Hackett were both offered the league minimum according to the Washington Post. To be frank, I am happy to see this.  If you want the Redskins big money,  you're going to have to prove you're worth it. What do you guys think???  What a change from years past....  Have the Skins finally learned????

Do not be fooled. They just did not have any money to offer them. If they would have gave them what the Rams and Panthers did they would have no money to sign there draft picks. Just you wait. If we have money in 2009 and this year we stink they will come out with "Well look we tried the spend no money on free agency approach and look what it got us." Bet my word on it!

My read is that Z-man wants to build his team from the ground up. He will build via the draft for the first couple of years and then be more aggressive in Free Agency down the road. Danny-Boy is letting him call the shots.
