8. Pitcher
9. Cesar Izturis

If i recall correctly, a long time ago (about 7 or 8 years ago) Larussa actually did bat the pitcher 8th. I feel like it was either Donovan Osborne or Todd Stottlemyre, but i do remember he did it once.

BP I'm just to the point where I am so sick about hearing crap on tv..reading crap on these boards..people being paranoid..throwing around accusations..it is ridiculous. People talk about it to stir about stuff..it's stupid..I'll leave it to the educated people who have a REAL chance of changing things.

on to baseball..

Harden looked really good today..He could have gone longer in my opinion..mowing down hitters left and right..

If he can keep this up..well..Cy Young candidate.

you could end up saying I got the Cy Young winner in the 19th round casey..haha

Yes!! Let's talk baseball.

I'm looking forward to the A's "All You Can Eat" Section (Athletics.mlb.com/oak/ticketing/ayce_seats.jsp">http://oakland.athletics.mlb.com/oak/ticketing/ayce_seats.jsp ). Following in the Dodgers footsteps they will be charging $35 for seats just above the bleacher section and eat all you can eat dogs, nachos, peanuts, popcorn, soda and ice cream. I don't care what they say about the Coliseum but it is the best priced ballpark in the Majors. I'll be very upset when I won't be able to go to the new ballpark in Fremont. Grrr!!!

GO OAKLAND!!!!!

Rasmus shouldn't hit leadoff yet, to much pressure on a guy that's only 20.

I disagree. The leadoff position is the perfect slot for Rasmus. Age shouldn't matter when the skills he poses are present. He is everything you want in a leadoff guy, speed, disciplined bat that rarely misses contact, and a little bit of pop.

But La Russa has been batting Ankiel behind Pujols more lately and I think that is because he wants a guy that is going to have a little bit better of an average behind Poo than Troy Glaus would. Both Troy and Rick have a good amount of pop to clear the bases, but you would not want Glaus slowing Rick down on the bases.

Yeah he made the decision to go with that last year and stuck with it till the end. I liked it because shortly after that shakeup, the offense started coming alive...well it was resuscitated to say the least.
