also, don't overlook the X-men. sure, they dont stand out or make their wins pretty, but they play well as a team and thats big in the tourny. i just dont see west virginia's one man team (i dont wanna hear this mazzula crap, he's not gonna have 10 boards again) pullin out this win. watch xavier win straight up

as for the nba, i dont see any point in betting on the miami game, but just for sh**s and giggles, i'll pick miami. for all we know tho, they could score 50 total points and no one would be surprised. also i dont see the mavs being able to stay go small against denver. sure howard could drop 30 again, but unless terry does the same the rest of the lineup is kidd, who will be lucky to drop more than 5, dampier, who has to go up against camby and stack, who could make or break the spread. i think carmelo and ivy will have some big games. also, take GS, hopefully their threes will fall.

My best bet of night is UCLA -11.5. I truly am on fade alert right now so buyer beware. Tourney has killed me. Bottom line if UCLA clamps down and plays D like they should WKY gonna find it hard to score, the only way UCLA doesn't score against them is if they play to there oppenents level (like they have a tendency to do). But here's the situation this is a back to back Final Four team, I beleieve they slept thru the first two round games really. Now it's onto the Sweet 16 where everything starts to intesify more and more as we get deeper and deeper. What scares me is they shouldn't have needed a wake up call (Losing in Final Four TWICE should be enough, but I beleive Texas A&M gave it to them, so prepare for a 3peat to the FInal Four. Howland WILL have them ready tonight!!! And there D, Experience, and Coaching will get them over the hump this year. IMHO!

brewer avitar is going to make a comeback for baseball season. We (I) had some laughs last night when i got home from the local watering hole and decided to change the look to have a few laughs about something that had happened on the thread a week or so ago.
