Funny anecdote about massholes when I was at BC. I'm waiting for the bus by where Comm Ave. turns left right before Cleveland Circle. Wearing a Yankee jacket. A jeep going towards Cleveland Circle pulls a sharp U-Turn and pulls up next to me, all 4 guys in it start yelling "Yankees SUCK!!!! F the YANKEES!" all giving me the middle finger and stuff. Then they pull another U-Turn and keep going on their way. I laughed, this was also well before the Sox finally won it all again.
Yet another fine example of that great city of virtue and civility that we call Boston. To bad Belichick wasn't around that night. At least then we would have had a video tape of what happened.
Hey McClain, btw, I am sure you were the first one through the door every Wednesday and Thursday at the Crimson! I'll admit I went there my freshman year because all you needed to do was put a 5-dollar bill under your BC id and that fat ex-cop let you in...and because i didn't know Boston yet...and beacuse it's were all the drunk freshman girls would be. Never went back there after my freshman year. It was all about MA's!!!!
If you guys don't feel like reading it I will break it down: Drunken Yankee fan falls on a 53-yr old man watching a game with his family, breaking the man's neck. The drunken guy and his friends run off without saying a word. The family is initially told by the Yankees that it is a confidential matter and have to speak to their legal department. After a newspaper contacts the team, they change their tune and offer to help the family get home.
i was jumped in da bronx after taking in a sox game at yankee stadium 5 years ago. i was wearing my sox hat. this stuff happens everywhere.There's a difference. You deserved it.
