both cities have toilet areas more or less.  unfortunately, yankee stadium happens to be in one of them. 

DUDE, youre living in the 70's..........Yankee Stadium probably has less issues than any ballpark in baseball....I am as white as white can be and myself and my family have run a business in the South Bronx since 1979...AND you know who we have the most issues and problems with, and this is true....WHITE BOSTON FANS that come in from your city, not Yankee fans, NOT the neighborhood guys..........What Im telling you is accurate and truthful.....

You Northeasterners better stay out of the rough and tumble streets of Charlotte...they don't call us the Queen City for nothing...

Thid type of crap might happen all of the time but it is no excuse, I saw first hand a Dodger fan at Candlestick get get his ass handed to him by 5 or 6 guys once. It was disgusting and the worst part was that most people in the stands were cheering these guys on while they did it. Sports is supposed to be FUN, I have plenty of Yankee fan friends and the best part of being fams of different teams is all of the yapping we do back and forth with each other like we do on these boards. Never once have I ever wanted to hurt someone just because of the team that they root for.

I personally would have tried to help the Yankee fan defend himself from these retards.

Boy, this is low and just uninteligent, even for Yankees fans.  Stupid a-holes, did you not see the below story that happened last year after New York was so bitter about not being in the world series again?  In case you don't feel like reading, this is where a Red Sox fan litterally had his face smashed in New York because of his Sox hat.

The point is, you can't start pulling the "HEY BOSTON IS REAL CLASSY" card out based on one story.  There are a*sholes in both cities.  There is violence in both cities.  Now we're 1-1 on stories about fans being beat up by fans from the other city.  Are we all happy now?  You can say anything you want about baseball, but picking one story about one individual and trying to relate that to an entire city is just stupid...as I said...even for Yankees fans.

Red Sox fan assaulted in New York

October 4, 2007

BOSTON --A Quincy man is nursing multiple facial fractures after a group of men who had earlier asked him if he was a Red Sox fan went on to attack him in New York.

The Boston Globe reports that the 25-year-old carpenter was in New York to work on a construction project in a Manhattan hotel.

He was watching a Red Sox-Angels playoff game with colleagues at a bar when another patron asked them if they had pride in Boston.

That man was later joined by two other people who approached the construction workers from behind as they left the bar.

Police said they attacked Ortez after he parted ways with two colleagues. The assailants fled after the two returned to help him on witnessing the assault.

Ortez's employer tells The Globe he is in the intensive care unit at Westchester Medical Center.
