"I am so tired of hearing about this bs. Why can't the media end this crap?"

Because it is the THIRD time in a month that questionable officiating has handed the Bruins a game!!!

hate is ok for you. I usually reserve hate for such things as Al Queda and Bin Laden. We don't hate Kansas, we just play them and try to beat them. I bet you hate Roy Williams.

Apparently Dodd isn't the only idiot who prefers to write more about the teams he doesn't like instead of writing about the teams that he does like...

Be proud, Bruins.  Hate comes to those programs that are legendary.  Nobody hates the Jaykawks.

I've seen pictures of Josh Shipp and Darren Collison pushing on the leaning tower of Pisa, pulling off the nose of the Sphinx and destroying those Bhuddist monuments in Afganistan. Why don't you dress in really tight white outfits and lead cheers at the next really big log burning. If there's another accident I'm sure we'll see pictures of Josh Shipp and Darren Collison pushing on the really big pile of logs.

What do you mean, "our?" If you're on the team, don't you have a game to prepare for? I think this warrants an NCAA investigation, since your eligibility is clearly out since judging by your avatar you were also on the Texas national championship football team.

I notice that not one of the Bruins fans responding to this thread are disputing that they had 3 games handed to them by bad officiating in the last month. That was the given reason people hate your team - most people on these boards can't remember more than one of the Bruins' national championship teams, since except for the Lavin team in the 90s they were all before the 80s. Although we do have to put up with Bill Walton reminding us constantly, which I guess is enough to make me hate those teams.

UCLA should not be in the Sweet 16. That Texas A&M player was not blocked at the end, but fouled. It was the exact same way last season when UCLA played Kansas. The officiating was horrible, every call went towards UCLA. It is ridiculous. I seriously think you guys pay referees to give you the game. If there is fair officiating tonight, watch Western Kentucky smoke you guys.

It's funny how there is always some reasoning to why they hate UCLA. Try as they might, the Legend that is UCLA, whether you remeber or not, "IS, and always shall be".

I don't see what the big deal is about the A&M game.  If you drive to the basket like that with a few seconds left on the clock, you rarely draw a foul.  Honestly, how often do you see games decided by free throws at the end?  Second of all, in real time it looked like a clean block.  Also, the way a A&m was shooting free throws does anyone think they would have made both?  Last of all, even if he made the free throws, did anyone think A&M was going to win in overtime the way UCLA was outplaying them in the last 10 minutes?  UCLA deserves credit for coming back from 10 down when one of their starters had strep throat and another was playing on a badly swollen ankle against a team that matched up extremely well with them.

In my opinion UCLA is getting away with everything. 3 games they have been given wins. They are also in the easiest bracket can remember in college basketball. They have to keep the LA market paying attention i guess. It helps keep the western part of the US involved. College basketball is doing everything they can to have North Carolina face UCLA in the final. Maybe they will get their wish. Who would the refs favor in that game?

I would not be surprised if we found out one day that college basketball officiating was corrupt. In that players like Hansbrough, and anybody on UCLA or any other really good team gets the calls their way all the time. It completely ruins the sport. It's ashame that it even has to be questioned but you would have to be crazy not to.
