Former Michigan great and leader of the famous Fab-Five Chris Webber has called it quits after 15 seasons in the NBA. I'm not sure how many of you Wolverine fans like C-Webb or hate him. I'm a huge fan of Mayce Edward Christopher Webber III and can say proudly has been my favorite athlete over the past 20 years in any sport.
What great memories...over the two years the Fab Five played together at Michigan they provided some of the best memories I have to this day. Yeah that era is tarnished by the Ed Martin scandal which made Michigan remove the Fab Five era from their record books leaving no memoray of them ever playing in back to back Final Fours. That will still not make me forget the games against Duke (3 hard fought losses), Indiana ('93-'94 season two classic games), North Carolina(two great games), Michigan State (Michigan dominated the Spartans then), Ohio State (Jimmy Jackson was a bitch to stop but we did it freshmen to Final 4), UCLA (wow), Kentucky (great final 4 game), Cincinnati (Shock the World), Temple (first NCCA tournament win), Notre Dame (all fab five players start Webber #4, Rose #5, Howard #25, King #24 and Jackson #21)...
Webber was a baller one of the top 15 PF's to ever play the game...just made some bad choices in life they haunted him his entire career...but still does not take away from the talent he was...
