Memphis will still represent the state of Tennessee, but I for one never liked the thread about the new mecca of Bball. That was a crock. UNC and Louisville could be a closer game than people are thinking. Texas and Stanford will be awesome. I would rather play Texas than Stanford, because I know we can beat the Longhorns. UCLA had me worried weeks ago but it appears they are not peaking at the right time. So I see Memphis in the finals. GO TIGERS

Speaking of conferences, I agree the SEC was a waste this year. I think they are normally a waste in BB though. SEC BB is similar to the PAC 10 for both FB and BB. The PAC 10 (in the 2 big sports) always has a dominant team (a top five or better), maybe 1-2 other top 20 teams, and a bunch of nothing after that. i.e. UCLA in BB and USC in FB.

<o:p> </o:p> As a NYC Big 10 homer, I don’t understand why everyone hates on the big 10. The big ten has been a little rough last few years but historically is a top conference in one sport or another. I really don’t care about this year or last because a few years has nothing to do with a conference's overall success. Nonetheless, the big 10 is 5-2, and should at least have another team in the tourney. That’s all.<o:p>

osu was a bubble team and should have made it in. They are proving it against all the other bubble teams in the NIT. You don't agree there are a lot of wasted seeds in the tourney? Personally , I think it is bad seeding and not upsets half of the time.
