Dodd has been in bed with Pete Carroll since he started coaching at USC. He is a college football analyst who writes crappy articles about both sports.
Hey Dodd, let me tell you something:
Regardless of the fact that WKU came back at the end of the game, UCLA still came up with a victory in the Sweet Sixteen. And even though Shipp fouled the TAMU guy at the end last game, we still were up by 2 and the foul would't have guaranteed that a 66% free throw shooter would have made both his free throws.
So STFU and know your role. You are a bald loser who knows NOTHING about college basketball or football (see Dodd's horrible bracket).

Well put, VB. Dodd is the biggest moron when it comes to hoops. In FB, he loves SC. Why does CBS even let this Doooochebag write for them?
Dodd, let's take a closer look at the UCLA Bruins:
34 - 3
Pac-10 reg season champs
Pac-10 conf tourney champs
#1 in the West
13 straight victories
3 consecutive Sweet 16s (Only matched by Memphis)
3 consecutive Elite 8s (UN-matched)(Also, not done by UCLA since the Wizard)
The only team remaining that has been to the last two Final Fours. (With all the experience that entails)
Dodd does = LOSER

And what Dodd forgets is that UCLA adjusts to things. If Xavier tries to press on Saturday, UCLA will know how to counter it.
I think the Mouseketeers will go down, BIG TIME. UCLA will win by at least 10. Then what will Dodd say?
"Big City Bruins Still Suck... Texas Will Show Them."
....then we beat Texas, and his article will read:
"Big City Bruins are Still Freaking Horrible... North Carolina Will Annihilate Those Powder Blue Losers From Westwood"
....then we win the national title, and his article will read:
"Big City 'Ruins Are the Worst National Champions in the History of the Entire Universe. Pete Carroll will Beat Them in Football and They will be Sucky in Every Sport Forever Because they Suck more than I Suck Suck... SUCK!!! THEY FREAKING SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHY THE F*** WON'T THEY JUST F***KING LOSE??? WHAT THE F****!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" (crying).......

#2: UCLA v. UNC in the NC game. No doubt. Psycho T will score 18. UCLA wins. That simple.
#3 "DODD seen polishing Pete Carroll's door knob . . ." Film at 11.

Hey Bahb_Gator - Correct me if I'm wrong, but FLOPida didn't make it to the tournament this year. Gator fans should crawl away and revel in their PAST victories amongst other Gator fans. The rest of us? WE DON'T CARE. It's hard being a has-been. I feel for you.
As for us UCLA fans, we're enjoying, for the third season in a row being part of the tournament. Better luck next year Gators!

Its funny there are no articles today on how UCLA had three players with four fouls with eight to go and Collison fouls out on a play where he did not touch the shooter. I guess they only get pub when the calls go there way. The refs need to stop reading the newspaper and call the game on what they see instead of fear of making the wrong call.

UCLA fans. be proud of your heritage but lets be real. You have won 3 games this year you had no business winning. One of which was in this tournament. Lose the other two games like you should have with much better officiating and you are no longer a number one seed. Guess what .. there is only 1 2 seed left. I am not a hater, I actually like the UCLA team. I think Howland is a great coach and of course he is a former Big East guy. The point is you have beaten your 16 seed 1rst round game, stole a game against the 9 seed and then had to hang on against the 12 seed. You should have had the easiest run of anyone in the tournament so far but instead it is a fight every night since MSVST.
Additionally you have nothing to be talking to Florida Fans about. NIT or not, they won the last two national championships. That is a lot more recently than you can say. Xavier is not a team you all want to play. In my opinion it is likely the worst matchup you could have asked for. Actually either WVU or Xavier would be trouble. I think it is tough in college bball because many times you have a lot of hype with west coast and east coast conferences with very little comparison to make. Many will say Arizona St hammered Xavier and that is true. How long ago was that??? If you all return to the final four then congratulations. But I am not impressed at all and see no harm in pointing out the obvious plethora of weaknesses your Bruins have.

.... Did Syracuse even field a basketball program this year? Times have been tough since Carmelo left, eh?
Stanford game - It was a body foul. GET OVER IT. Refs call ticky tack fouls all the time throughout the game. The only reason everyone is pissing and moaning about this one is because it was at the end of the game. Then, we proceeding to kick the ever living dog crap out of Stanford AGAIN in the Pac10 tourney. So we DESERVED to win both games.
Cal game - The shot was over the CORNER of the basket, and could have been called either way. Again, this game had no bearing on anything because we had already clinched the conference title.
A&M game - I AGREE, Josh Shipp DID foul Sloan. He did, okay? But here is the thing: TAMU was down by 2, and Sloan was a 66% free throw shooter. How do you know, with as loud as the Honda Center was with Bruin fans, that Sloan would have tied up the game with free throws? And, how do you know we wouldn't have demolished them in overtime? We will never know because the refs missed that call. It doesn't mean they HANDED us the game. Like I said before, refs miss foul calls ALL THE TIME. Love was being slaughtered down low all game, and they never called anything. So one missed call at the end of the game is hardly anything to cry about.
SYRACUSE. .... LOL!!

So which is it JD easy or not?
Get your story straight first it is the easiest run to the Final Four then it's the worst matchup you could ask for......yada yada yada.....
We win and we win ugly because we can play anybody's game style better than they can.
So what we beat a conference champion by 10 points ....I didn't see anybody else do that yesterday and I don't expect to see it happen today.
Take note with the exception of Davidson all these other high seeds left are a little different than than the Hilltoppers their not champions, and Davidson just may give Wisconsin a run for their money.
