How much credibility does Mike Freeman have with the readers after making such bi-polar statements like these concerning Memphis' basketball team less than a week apart.

"They might be the most flawed top seed in many years" to "getting trampled under the hooves of powerful stallions"

Which way is the wind blowing today..Mike? What a joke-

	Mike Freeman is a complete joke eariler in the week he wants to dog the Tigers and now he wants to give them a little props. No we dont want it keep picking against us and calling the Tigers the most flawed # 1 seed ever and a bunch of street ballers we will show you.

	Hey Mike, a lot of people read your column last week comparing the Tigers to an "AND 1" team. You ever seen an AND 1 team play defense like that? You ever seen an AND 1 team distribute like that? You ever seen an AND 1 team with a point guard like Derrick Rose, a slasher like CDR, a beast like Dorsey or a coach like Calipari? You owe an admission that you misjudged this team, if not an outright apology. A big man admits when he is wrong. A little man just tries to write something completely different and hope all those stupid readers forget the nonsense he wrote the previous week. By the way, 15 for 20 from the line down the stretch. CDR went 11 for 12. Rose went 6 for 7. Yes, Dorsey still can't shoot free throws, but you took one 46% night and drew a broad generalization about the whole team and said their days were numbered. How do you even have a job writing about sports, Mike?

	Contrary to Freemans first article I think that Freemans "Britney Spears Memphis Tigers" analogy was a bit out of line cause I have never seen Brit B** slap anyone as hard as Michigan State got B** slapped on Friday night. For all of the C-USA haters living in Big Ten country LICK EM. Memphis has had smaller winning margins against several C-USA teams (Tulsa, UAB, Houston, UTEP) that failed to make the tournement this year beacuse C-USA is such a "weak confrence". But when we play a "REAL SCHOOL" from a "REAL CONFRENCE" we are up 30 at half against the only BIG TEN team still standing, and dont even have to sweat the last 20 mins. So lets review BIG TEN, ACC, PAC-10 AND C-USA are just letters, STATE, DUKE, UCLA, UNC AND, MEMPHIS are just words printed on jerseys but PLAYERS AND COACHES are what makes a GREAT TEAM which can come from any confrence reguardless of what is printed on their jerseys. JUST ASK DAVIDSON.

	this guy gets me so fired up- Thats the only reason he has a job. He is a terrible sports analyst, mediocre writer and his opinions are usually so far fetched that they are out of the realm of sanity. No one seems to like Freeman (except maybe Al Sharpton). The only reason I can think that CBSSportsline keeps him around is purely on the basis that he fires people up with his idiotic statements. Either that or the fear that Freeman will sue that he was fired on the basis of his race. I mean after reading his articles, you know if anything bad happens to a black man the only reason can be racial prejudice.

	Mike Freeman needs to write about a sport he might be able to understand. Maybe Cal with his Italian heritage can teach him the techniques of rolling a Bocce Ball. He obviously doesn't understand the game of basketball

	I agree...Freeman typically does a pretty poor job. He has obviously been down on Memphis and should have given an admission to his poor judgment. From a Carolina fan, I gotta say Congrats to Memphis for a very impressive win! Here's to hoping we can meet you in the finals and see who the best team in the country is. Not sure why all the "experts" have been so high on Kansas and UCLA, but giving very little love to the Heels and Memphis. I would love to see a Memphis-UNC final. Memphis is beginning to remind me of the UNLV team that won the NC in 1990.
