Believe it or not, alot of the men's BB fans are really getting into the women's March Madness. There are a lot of requests out there to get Women's BB team pages and message boards. Come on CBS, listen to your site visitors and create individual team message boards. You did it for NCAA baseball, now do it for Women's BB!

How many women's jerseys are sold annually?

How many universities around the country are turning a profit from Woman's Basketball?

Please stop the madness!!!!

maybe if you ask your manager at foot locker to sell some women's jerseys, she would....and it's women's (not woman's) basketball for the record.......the madness lies in the individuals that DECIDE that they will not support women's athletics. It is a real shame to simply cancel out the sport before giving it it a chance.  I hope that you are the father of all girls that wish to compete in sports. Then you will change your mind.  Maybe....

There is absolutley no hurt for fans on the women's side. You all that choose not to watch the sport just don't realize the following it truely has. 21k fans at this years and just about every years Final Four. That's impressive. The women always get good crowds. And what about here in Knoxville? 15-20k a game. No matter the opponent, no matter the day or time. And I know several (UCONN, Maryland,  North Caroline, New Mexico, Vandy) also have impressive crowds night in and night out. So just b/c YOU choose not to watch/attend the games, don't be so quick as to make the general assumption NO ONE does.

5th Wil, you are forgetting to mention how successful the WNBA has been.   You forgot that the NBA has lost over a $100 million on it and have not turned a profit nor broke even ever.    I just wish that CBS and the other sports outlets would stop forcing women's basketball down our throats.   They aren't doing it with volleyball, softball, etc.   The TV ratings certainly don't justify any coverage.    Actually I would probably rather watch women play volleyball than basketball.

Come on CBS! (What do you want more Hand outs?)

I watch the Women's game and have for a long time. Sheryl Swoopes at Texas Tech, Katie Smith at Ohio State, Chamique Holdsclaw's 7 championship streak still astounds me!  I can go on and on too marketing the positives about the game.....

The bottom line is women are not atlhetic enough to play the same game on the same court with the same regulation height basketball goals.  The Game's entertainment, excting, and unexpected value isn't as high as the Men's game  --

To tell the truth the Game's return on investment figures must be phenomal b/c outside of maybe 15 Div 1 programs, the Football team funds or partially subsidizes the womens' basketball programs!
