Anyone read the artilce in today's Daily News (Sunday)?  Obviously South Carolina is interested in Horn.

In the article, Selig basically lays out Horn's contract.  Is Horn's contract public knowledge?  If not, I would be HIGHLY pissed at Selig for telling people what I make and even mentioning my wife's first name.

I wonder if there might be a little bad blood between Horn and Selig.  Just curiosity on my part, I have no knowledge of their relationship.

I don't know but if South Carolina offers their job to Horn, WKY will be looking for a new coach.

I have been out of town and just got back in.  What is going on?  Has he been offered the job?

I think it is now time for WKU to start paying coaches enough to at least compete with major conference schools.  Until that happens, WKU is going to continue to be a stepping stone for young coaches.  This job doesn't have to be that way.  We were one of the top 16 teams this year.  If Horn would just stay, he could build this program up to be a Final Four contender.  Our problem is that we can't keep a coach for any longer than 5 or 6 years before they get offers from major conference schools...therefore there is no continuity in the building process.  Being an alumni of WKU I'm sure Horn would stay if the pay was at least comparable to USC.

COME ONE SELIG...START PAYING OUR COACHES WHAT THEY NEED TO STAY!!!

Go TOPS!!!

I hate falling into the rumors that spread around on the net. I try not to listen because most of it is gossip and hear-say. Esp. all the ones concerning bobby knight coming to wku. HOWEVER, (trust me, for me to post on here with this evidence, it has to be somewhat legit) one of my good friends wife is a real estate agent here in BGKY. Normally, she doesnt disclose her contacts and keeps them to her self, because nobody really cares. But, she was contacted by a lady named Karen KNIGHT and was wanting to know what homes were on the market in the area. She had that she was referred to her by a friend of her husband. Karen then said that they were not from the area, looking to relocate here, and that they were in town today (yesterday) and their schedule was crunched and she would let them know in the near future. She also mentioned she would be in contact and apologized for the nosie, that she was eating dinner with her husband and others at Montanna grill..... Hummmmm..... This really makes me wonder??????

No, no...that's all wrong.  Reports say that he was looking at houses in Olde Stone.  It was actually Greystone and he slept in my guest room cuddled up with my dog.  The two were precious.  But my dog has his loyalties and left 'Hey Knight' in the lurch.  The General proceeded to throw my living room chairs and curse until the cops came.

Luckily we got him out of town before the paparazzi (Gene Birk & Whitney Ray) showed up...whew!!!!!! That one was close.

Selig, you owe me a new recliner!!!!!

Maybe tomorrow we can talk about Jack and the Beanstalk or other fairytales...
