Yes those Jags really did a number on the NFC North.

Chicago Bears

Green Bay Packers

Detroit Lions and

Minnesotta Vikings fans

All live in fear of the Jaguars.

If you're going to be a smarta$$ at least get the division right moron. It's the AFC North

To be fair you both got it wrong because the Jaguars are in the AFC South, but they did own the Steelers who are in the AFC North.

Anyway, the Jags have an awesome team, could do with a better pash rush though but other than that they are a pretty balanced team.

Steelers need alot of help if they want to retain the AFC North title especially with the Cleveland Browns on the up. As it stands Cleveland don't need to have a 1st, 2nd or 3rd round pick and would still have a better all round team than the Steelers. Now I say this for two reasons 1. because I hate the Steelers and 2. because it's the truth. Offensively they are pretty well matched. Both have good QBs (although I don't like Big Ben he is good.) Both teams have decent WRs, with Braylon topping the group. Both with well matched TEs. Also good RBs for either side, Browns holding experience with Lewis but the youth comes from the Steelers with Parker. Cleveland hold the edge with a younger and better O-line. I can't say much about the Defences because I don't really know. All I know is my opinion of the Steelers and I really don't like Troy Polamalu, I will be happy if the hair rule comes in.

Sorry if I have offended anyone but I really don't like the Pittsburgh Steelers

The Jags blew their chance.  When you're playing healthy, you need to execute in the clutch.  They didn't.  Same old, same old.  No rings.

I'll let your ineptitude about what division the Steelers play in slide.

If your idea of manhandled is a 7 point victory (winning TD scored in the closing 2 minutes) and a 2 point victory (winning FG kicked in the final 40 seconds), than I would love to see how you define a close game. A ridiculous post...

lishman05-

Did you hit your head when you rolled out of bed this morning, or are you just naturally that stupid?

We didn't both get it wrong. The original poster knows that Jax is in the AFC South, he was trying to be a smart guy by saying that Jax is the AFC North Champ because they beat the Steelers 2 times (Not that they are actually in the AFC North). His post said  NFC North Champs instead of AFC North (ergo my correction that the NFC North does not include Pittsburgh). Did I break that down in clear enough words for you?

Nobody cares what a Packer's fan (who hates the Steelers) thinks about the AFC North this year. I'm willing to bet you saw a whopping 4 games of AFC Football last season (coincidentally the Packers played 4 games vs. the AFC last season) none of which were AFC North opponents.

Additional stupid statements made by you:

Big Ben and Derek Anderson are good QB's (correction Big Ben is a great QB who finished the season as the #2 QB behind Tom Brady)

Willie Parker and Jamal Lewis are good RB's (Willie Parker was leading the league in Rushing before breaking his leg in week 15 or 16. Jamal Lewis is a washed up Coke dealer that basically falls forward for 2 or 3 yards on 98% of his touches)

While my Steelers are in the Playoffs this year enjoy your struggles with Aaron Rodgers. No way GB goes back to the Playoffs this year. When I'm watching the Steelers make a SB run, you can go hump the Brett Favre statue (that I'm sure is being erected at Lambeau as we speak). Just remember not to lick it, especially in the groin area, as we all know how cold it gets up there in January. I'd hate to see your tounge get frozen to his bronze jock strap.

It's a bit rich isn't it that a Steelers fan is being patronising!

For your information I saw more than 4 AFC games last year, including a shocking game that ended with the Steelers beating the Dolphins 3-0. That says alot about the franchise doesn't it?! That says alot about the franchise, that they could only just beat the worst team in the NFL by 3 points, and don't go giving shit about the pitch conditions because your front office and groundsmen refused to change the condition of the pitch after that game. You claim to have the one of the best RBs in the league and yet you couldn't get in the endzone against them. Yeah real dominant! Lets not forget the New England game too. Pitt had the best chance of beating them, especially if they bothered to watch game tape of the two New England games before hand, and followed what the better Pennsylvania team did and fellow division rivals did. But no, you tried to do your own thing and look what happened. . . you got ripped to shreds. I mean, come on, you say Big Ben is a great QB and yet he couldn't even make it close. A backup QB brought Philly within 3 and the Ravens, who have a pretty poor team, had them pretty much beat but were beaten by poor calls.

Willie Parker you claim is one of the best in the league and lead the league in rushing before his injury. Look at how many times Ben Roethlisberger hands the rock to him. There's no wonder why he gets so many yards. Also how many points did he put up from those yards?? 12!! That's right only 2tds off the 321 carries that he had. If he put more points up on the board from his carries then I might consider him as one of the better RBs in the league. However, he doesn't so I don't.

Ben Roethlisberger, the franchise QB of the Pittsburgh Steelers! What an idol to have!! A man that rides his motorbike without a helmet, right into an elderly womans car. Oh how I idolise him! I wonder how many days until he does it again! Not really the image you want to promote as a franchise really is it?? In case you don't know the answer it's no! Finished #2 behind Brady did he?? Go check the player rankings and get your facts straight. I'm looking forward to him having a season where he's gunna be spending half of it on his back. Let's be honest, he's lost his best lineman, so you will have to replace him and even Pete Prisco thinks that your tackles are poor.

Superbowl run?? I don't think so somehow. Cleveland have got the AFC North this year, they will sweep you. So will the entire NFC East. Philly will own you in the PA showdown. As will the defending champs, and the Cowboys will destroy you. Washington will also beat you down. The most boring team in football won't even make wildcard! So next year you sit there quietly, like all the other Steeler 'fans' at Heinz field, and watch your team lose.

Let's start where it all starts and ends, the QB. Ben has the best first 4 years of ANY QB in history.  15-1 in his rookie season and loses to the Pats in the playoffs. Second year, rallies his team to a great run and wins the Super Bowl and by the way, he WON the playoff games at Indy and Denver with his arm.  One mediocre season after a super bowl win, having his appendix takes out before game one and the motorcycle (we don't have motorbikes like you English unless you are 12).

While I am a Favre fan, let's not forget his addiction to both pain pills and partying and the FACT that the two biggest games of the year (Dallas in regular season and Giants in the playoffs, he LOST the game)  He is still a hall of famer and one of the best ever, but far from perfect.

I was at the Dolphin game and the field was ridiculous. Steelers were lucky to get the win, but good teams win when they have to no matter what.  Field conditions were tough for the Pack and G'men but the G'men got it done, just like the Steelers did.

the Browns are getting better, but come on. The Ravens and Bengals were "supposed" to own the division last year, but who won it???  Stop being a hater, if you can

Thank you max.

I just wanted to say a few quick things, max took care of one.  Ben may not be the best role model, but at least the problems of his were accidents not choices like Favre's partying and pain pill problem.  We may have only beat Miami by 3, but all I saw was the little mark in the W column.  If Faneca was so great for us last year, the why were we first in sacks allowed, with most pressure coming up the middle?  O sorry I forgot, you don't know shit about Steelers football.  So go win a couple more Super Bowls and then you can come talk to the big boys.  Got 5?  Didn't think so bitch, get back to work.

It is beginning to look like the Steelers are having a hard time with them.....what's their record playing each other the last two seasons?  I believe it's 3 and 0 for the JAGS with emphasis on the zero for the Steelers or did you intentionally forget the Shutout of 9 to zip down here.... or maybe you got a concussion like Big Ben did when the Jags got after him... looking forward to the season... maybe we will get another rematch...wouldn't that be fun.. kind of like The Gators playing the Pitt Panthers...ha ha.ha ha

I just heard that the NFL is going to play the super bowl in jax every year. The reason for this is because if they play the Super Bowl in Sd and the Chargers make it there it would not be fair. Or if they play in the N.O. and the Saint make it again it is not fair. The smart men of the NFL office came up with the idea since the Jax Jags are almost like the Bucs and never make it to the Super Bowl let alone win one they will just play it there. This is also so they can give that dead of a town called Jax some money. The natives dont like it because they all want to be in bed by 7 pm but who cares.

Boy Jax fans are completely retarded...And most of them are 75 years old and are in retirement homes! Gotta love when dumbass writers, Brown fans, and everyone else always count out the Steelers! THERE IS A REASON THEY LET FANECA GO. They drop very good players every year and always find someone to fill the void. They have been doing it since the 70s and that's one reason why we are one on the best sports franchises EVER.

Our division until another team can take it from us, ON A CONSISTENT BASIS, not just a year here or there. If the Browns think they are better, they have another thing coming to them. What they did this offseason is what Washington does every offseason and look where they are. I am not scared one bit of the Browns. PLEASE! HAHAHA
