Jackson is a 49er if he slips to the 29th spot.  Martz would grab him in a heartbeat.  I seriously doubt Jackson slips out of the first round...way too much talent there

I was thinking the same thing.  DeSean Jackson is definately the pick here if he falls.  If he isnt there Limas Sweed would be the next...if not him...then you go Groves and grab Doucet in the second

if 49ers have another bad offensive season, again, they need someone that could pump up the offense. They need a good returner, and jackson can certainly fit the needs. With a better offense, the defense won't be giving up much points. Everyone is always talking about how the defense was one of the worst, but it was the horrible offense that created the bad defense. I mean, the defense was on the field 80 percent of the time. They barely even get a rest. So people have to stop blaming the defense for the 49ers faults, because it was all offense.

I like the possibility of Jackson coming to SanFran, I think he has instant skills in the return game (where we are lacking) and is a late 1st season to 2nd season WR answer. Having Rice as your teacher doesn't hurt. The main problem I see is will he be there at 29th? Maybe Nolan should trade up.

Jackson has great receiver's instinct and great hands.  I don't know why people say that he has poor "receiving credentials."  I've seen him play, in person.  He gets great separation, plays the ball in the air well, and makes the catch.  He's lethal in the open field.  Don't fall in to the trap of believing that receiving talent and return talent are mutually exclusive; Jackson is great at both.  The only really fair knock on him is his size.  I would love for him to come to SF.
