So what are peoples thoughts on this game? I predict OSU by 8 in a tight match-up. OSU could really propel themselves into next years season with a win tonight. UMass really could use this win to help show that the A-10 is a force that has to be dealt with. Really this game is huge for both programs. If OSU keeps up what they have been doing so far in the NIT, then they won't have to worry much. This will get Butler 105 wins in his 4 years at OSU.

I like the Buckeyes chances but do not doubt Umass could win. Note to Thad and the crew, Umass can mount a come back! Do not sleep on them if you get up!

Pretty good prediction! A tight game won by 7, so you were only off by 1 point. I do think this helped the confidence of this young OSU team and the post season experience couldn't hurt them either. Congrats Buckeyes!

Great win by the Buckeye's. This was a hard fought game and all the starters contributed. Jamar had 19 with 8 assists. Koufos with 23pts, Hunter with 17, Turner with 20, Lighty with 8pts, 4 assists, and 4 rebounds. This was a great overall game. Thanks to the Seniors for 4 great years. This maybe the greatest 4 years put together in OSU history. I know they didn't win a NC, but the went to one. Jamar will be greatly missed, but your name will always be atop the record books.

I was there for the game - it was exciting. The Buckeye faithful represented much better than on Tuesday night (I was also present at that one). We still couldn't drown out the UMASS crowd but we made some noise. Great win and I'm happy Butler leaves w/ a win.

I'd still rather personally lose in the first round of the NCAA's, but I'm happy they went out and won the NIT. The experience of winning a postseason tournament and playing in MSG can be nothing but good for this team.
We'll miss Butler, Hunter, and even Twig, but I'm excited for next year with the class coming in.

It's amazing when youlook at OSU's overall record, including 10-8 in the big Ten, that they
didn't get an NCAA bid. They won at Michigan State and, really, the only true game that
they SHOULD have won, but lost, was at Iowa.
Still, they aquitted themselves and the Big 10 PROUD by winning the NIT.
It is interesting how so many people diss the NIT, yet when you look at the teams
in it,it really has MANY teams that could have (should have) been in the NCAAs.
That said, the "experts" were saying how Mass would win because they had played more
games on the road in the NIt and how OSU had played NO games on the road, so they
would be defeated by the road experienced UMASS...blah, blah, blah.
I never doubted them. ONce they were in the final game I put my bid on them,
.50cents worth, and won.....big.
Congrats OSU. You shall be a force, as will the Big 10, next year.
