hahaha, Great picks, Fly!! It seems some of us Flyer fans are gonna drop some, as bew and I both missed making picks, along with your brilliant strategy, we won't be making LEAFS work very hard! hahaha
I was off the computer all day, and got caught up somewhere away from home when the game started, so not only did I miss my picks here, I actually missed viewing the entire 1st period of the game! And don't ya know, I get in the house during intermission, and see the Flyers are up 3-0!! I missed every one of their goals, and then when I'm actually watching the game, they don't score again, except for an empty netter at the end!
Which brings me to a quandary.. like bew, I can get superstitious about these things.. should I now not watch the 1st period of Sunday's game? Should I not make picks for Sunday's game? haha.. I don't know if I can stand not watching it.. the picks thing wouldn't bother me, cuz it's not like we're playing for a big jackpot. Maybe it was the jersey I wore on Thursday that did it.. I had tried a Biron jersey, and a Gagne jersey for earlier games, and of course they lost.. so I went old school, and broke out the old Mark Recchi #8 jersey! I figured since he was a Pen (more than once) and won a Cup there, it would be like a reverse curse on the Pens, wearing his Flyer jersey! So maybe that's what helped get the W this time.. so many things to choose, I don't know if it was the combo of all of them, or just one singular thing! haha
