I have been bitter about the way UNC beat Nevada this year, and I've been holding it in. You may remember that mid way throught the 2nd half, up by about 30, UNC began running a full court press to drive their lead up to 40. I thought that was absolutely classless. Does anyone remember this, and does anyone agree with me??? Does anyone care?
UNC lost tonight, and I'm glad. I ripped them on the UNC team page - check it out under the subject "Down Goes Carolina! Down Goes Carolina!"
I can't wait for next season when UNC comes to Nevada. Believe it or not, I actually once saw UNC play at Lawlor many years ago. It must have been in the 80s, and as I recall, UNC was ranked in the top 10. UNC beat Nevada handily.
I hope for a reversal of fortunes next season. If Nevada can pick up some bigs with their last two scholarships, then maybe they can make a game of it.
