On the off-chance that someone on the UMass 2007-8 men's basketball team will read this page, I would like to offer my sincere thanks to them for an exciting and rewarding season (for us, the fans, and for them). Sure, the loss to Charlotte still hurts, but the team made up for quite a bit of that by playing so well in the NIT against BCS teams like Syracuse and Florida. The way you consistently attacked the basket and rebounded the ball was terrific. You made us proud!
Now, if Coach Ford will only stay put, it will be great to see how the 2008-9 team comes together over the course of next season.
