While everyone is talking defense, the Pats should trade down and draft an offensive tackle to replace the pinwheel on the left side. Matt Light is exactly what his name implies......light. Every speed rusher in the NFL has a field day against Light. Think back over the previous two seasons and the worst hits Brady has taken is from the blind side.

If I'm the Pats, I try to make a deal with Cowboys and snag an left OT and then grab an ILB with next pick.  There will be a CB available when they pick in the second round .

If Light is playing the left side in '08, Brady will get pummeled and probably seriously hurt.  So in the third round, I'd be looking for Matt Cassel's replacement.

I have to disagree.  They can survive with the line they have.  What they need is linbackers and CB.

ILB just gets older and slower by the minute.  I love Bruschi but he has lost more than a couple of steps.  He was getting bowled over by RB's.  He isn't the playmaker he used to be.
