Joe Lunardi already has a bracketology out for next year. He has Hoyas as a 9 seed in the west playing Baylor. With the winner playing Duke. Andy Katz top 25 has us at 19 I believe. I think that might be about right. I don't know about a 9 seed. I don't see that big a drop. I think more like a 5. They should still be a very good team. 4th or 5th in the big East

Some of those predictions are a massive joke. UCLA drops to a 7, with the best recruiting class in the country coming in? Notre Dame up to a 2 seed? We drop to a 9? Duke a 1? Come on Joe, seriously. He sure loves that ol' ACC. Because they did so well in this year's tournament, ya know? All around, that is. If it wasn't for UNC, they would've been the laughingstock of the big conferences in this season's tourney.

As to Duke.....remember.....past success is not an indicator of current success. When will the college basketball denizens that seed, rank, etc. realize that and start assessing Duke fairly, instead of always propping them up?

ESPN is the biggest homers when it comes to ACC basketball. Especially Mike Patrick and Dick Vitale. Watch a game they announce and the comments are laughable. Mike Patrick dropped this gem a few years back, "JJ Redick is the greatest shooter I've ever seen!" Really Mike? Ever? Better than Larry Bird, Chris Mullin, Reggie Miller, Ray Allen, etc. Ok guy. This year's ACC tourney was exciting but the teams weren't nearly as good as ESPN made them out to be.
