Everyone tried to say how great seattle was going to be after making this trade...but as you can see so far bedard is bedard...a rich mans Rich Harden. Yes he has been a lot better then harden over his career, but he is also hurt at least once a year...now if you could put harden and bedard together you might achieve greatness.....Erich Bedarden

I read that as " A_Rich_Beard_Man "

I don't have too much interest in following the M's or the O's, but I think this was a good trade on paper (stud prospect(s) for explosive and dominating pitcher)

But, as we all know, Bedard was unproven in terms on durability, but a great pitcher like Harden and Burnett of  the Jays

Lets just see what happens as the season progress and see how the players O's picked up (like jones) develop over the next few seasons first.

I thought the Bedard trade improved their pitching staff, but I think he is a #2 or #3 at best.  If you can get the fans to buy into him as the staff ace then so be it.
