OK! Enough excitement and shakeup. Shoot off any ideas you might have for Bowslby about rebuilding the men's basketball team. Oh, and feel free to express thoughts on our chances next year in the PAC-10 with a freshman coach and a Lopez-less team. I for one am not against poaching Cal for Monty back, you know Bowslby could say something like this to Barbour:

"Missy (PC for you know what), you thought I would actually let you have Monty, Sike!"

BEAT Cal!

Nice to have you back leland.  Here are my thoughts/concerns for next season.

Best case scenario

1. Our perimeter game could rebound to the form it had in 2006 where Goods, Hill and now, Johnson start hitting shots.

2. Landry Fields should take a big step forward and become a 10-13 pt per game scorer.  I have watched him in warmups over the past two years and the boy can flat out shoot the ball and has some athleticism as well.

3.  Josh Owens and one of our incoming freshman step up and fill the huge hole left by the Lopez twins.

4. We hire a coach that builds some excitement into our offense while maintaining our defensive strengths (will be a tough task with no Lopez twins)

We finish in the top 5 of the Pac 10 and get a #7 or #8 seed in the NCAA tourney, win one game and then lose to the #2 or #1 seed.

Just keeping it real!!!
