Will Tyreke Evans be as good as Rose?

Cal's greatest quality is his ability to reload!

Here's just a sample of kids who were signed, played a year, and/or left early for the NBA:

Derrick Rose

Shawn Williams

Shaun Banks

Amare Stoudamire

(Probably CDR- who would be a top 10 or top 5 pick in one more year and play in the FINAL FOUR in Detroit his hometown)

There are more but here are the results with Cal's "contingency plan":

Elite 8 & 30 plus wins

Elite 8 & 30 plus wins (undefeated league champion)

FINAL FOUR & NATIONAL FINALIST 38 WINS: MOST IN NCAA HISTORY (undefeated league champion)

The Tigers are RELOADING!

GO TIGERS GO!

I hope Tyreke is great, but it is a little much to ask that he be as good as Rose.

IF anyone watched the McDonald's all-american game, one thing was very clear...this kid needs to grow up a lot.  Leaving Philly should help because all of his posse ( double digits) can't afford to go to all the games as they would if he went to Nova.  I have no doubt he and his brothers will be reading all of these posts because that is their style.  That is why they waited until the final day to announce and held a national press conference.

I was on the fence whether I wanted him to go to Nova because although he would be the most talented players on the team, I'm not sure he would've made us better in one year...unlikely he stays two.  He can get to the hole with the best of them.  Just hope no one lese on Memphis wants to shoot next year.  Hope he does well. Just not against Nova.

I doubt he's as talented, but he can have similar numbers as Rose did through most of the year. The difference will be the ability Rose had were nothing could stop him at the end of games(except FT's), KU held him scoreless for a 24 minute stretch but during the last 10 minutes he was relentless. Cali is reloading as usual but i don't see this team being anywhere near as good as the final four team. Memphis will realize how hard it is to make the final four again next year, but on the bright side Memphis is almost guranteed to win it's last 20 games and get another 1 or 2 seed every year.
