With Ramon Sessions budding play, what do the Bucks do with him? Do they give him an opportunity to play by trading Mo Williams, or do you have him as an amazing point guard tandem?

I personally would trade Williams for a good defensive presence, Sessions has proved he could do decently, 20 points and 24 assists in one game!

Williams is like a Chauncy Billups -a shoot first PG...however Chauncy grew out of this and maybe Williams will too just with a different team

Williams is a great player, but I don't know if he can lead us to a championship. Sessions seems to be more cp3 or derron williams type player, which seems to be the winning type player. If we can get great value for williams, i'd say trade him. Otherwise, I'd bring williams off the bench behind sessions, He'd give us some good bench scoring.

Sessions appears to have true Point Guard skills as far as creating opportunities for others while having a decent shooting touch from what I've seen so far. I'm assuming Charlie Bell is gone so we need another Point Guard. I'm not sure he can handle the defensive end of the game, with his lack of size, to be a starter. I do think we could put Redd or Williams out there with Mason and/or Simmons to get an Amare Stottlemyre (sp?) type player. I'm all for a house cleaning. I just can't put my finger on what would put us over the top. Development ( and health) from Sessions and Yi? Would that be enough? We definitely have to dump Gadzuric, Voskul and Ruffin. We get absolutely NOTHING out of them except for a few breather minutes for Bogut. I know management is stressing that they want a defensively strong club which is all well and good, but I don't enjoy watching 82-76 games (unless we win two-thirds of them). Sessions certainly did make a case for himself....I'll be anxiously waiting to see what players Hammonds feels aren't worthy of sticking around.

Ideally I would like to see Mo coming in off the bench. Could be a Ricky Pierce/Vinnie Johnson type of player. But I doubt egos would let that happen.
Otherwise we need to move either Redd or Mo for help at the SF.

Let's see where the draft/offseason moves take us but unless Sessions flops in the preseason he better be our starting point guard next year

Assists on a shoot first guard oriented team. It's about time. If only the forecourt would play defense. Keep Sessions trade Williams.

Keep Sessions trade Williams.
I second that, but I would see if Sessions' performance was a fluke(highly doubt it), and trade Willams a month into the season.

Well, It certainly would have helped to have a better coach this year. So we could at least see what Scott Skiles good do with the talent we have at this moment. I do think we need some tough rebounders. We just didn't hit the boards hard enough. We defenitly have tools for a trade.

Mo seems to have an ego so I think he may clash with Skiles. He maybe the one starter who will be dealt after his BYC status clears. Sessions has good size and gets into good position to be a good defender. I think Skiles might like him off the bench or possibly as the starter if no alternative PG comes in with a trade.

I wouldn't necessarily do that yet, I would give Yi a chance, too.

I wouldn't hand over the keys to Sessions just yet. I'm not sure how much Sessions' dominant play late in the season was because of how good he is or just the lack of defense/effort on the part of the other players.
That being said, we all know a back court of Mo and Redd doesn't work....so what do we really have to lose by bringing in Sessions more?

If the Bucks go with a small line-up they can put Redd 6'6" @ small forward, Mo 6'1"@ shooting guard and Sessions 6'3" @ point guard. With Bogut @ center & Yi or charlie V @ power forward. Team would score alotta points but would also give up alotta points.
The other thing I like about Sessions besides his pass first mentality is his slashing to the basket. Sorry, but Redd & Mo are far more likely to pull up for a jump shot but Ramon can drive it to the hoop. Reminds me a little of AI when he drives. That has been missing for a very long time from the Bucks too. Everyone on the team except for maybe Mason like to pull up for jump-shots.
Face it Mo Williams makes toooo much to be a bench player. but might make tooo much to traded (like Simmons & Gadz-ur-rich). I'm sure they will atleast try to move him in the offseason.
