You know me too well JD. Now the Pork shoulder turned out real nice. I kinda figured the oak and native cherrywoods would work with a large roast like that. As for the chicken pieces I added it may have been a bit too strong, but in the end it wasnt bad.
Had Bar B qued smoked pork and chicken with Fettecinne noodles in a pesto, parmesan and asagio cheese sauce.
I am eating cinnamon toast for dessert as we write.
The furniture is real nice. The only problem is that when I "kick back" on the splitback to watch TV I wind up waking up about 6 hours later. The cat has laid claim to the Eammes style soft pad lounge chair, but I guess its pretty comfortable when she lets me sit in it.
That is a great sounding meal Biffer. Are you talking real pesto with tons of basil and pinons?
I don't do desserts until after the smoke has cleared later on at night. Susie does the sweets for me. I do the meats for her. Kind of like some old familiar nursery rhyme.
Too bad she's pretty creepy too. That's a wicked person's smile if I've ever seen one. She's pretty, for sure, but pretty in a wake up in a tub of ice missing organs sort of way.
But, you know, now that I think about it, provided the knock out drugs don't completely erase any of the good stuff, an organ or two might be a small price to pay. I guess it depends on the organ taken.
