Dawn, I also am doing some laundry. Going to Disney with the MRS. and kids next week. Won't be doing any posting as we are staying onsite and Disney, that well known haven for children and parents, charges $10 a day for internet service in their rooms. My wife says that it implies there are some common areas with free wi-fi but we cannot confirm that for sure.
JD, I am a lapsed reader. Used to read a couple of novels a week. But with kids, hobbies(Like this latest bad one I've pick up hanging with you all) and just all the stuff that goes with adult life leave me little time for fictional reading. I do watch a LOT of what many people would call boring, informative TV. Docs, History and Science and Nat GEO channel as well as Charlie Rose, Meet the press, other topical shows on MSNBC. It's not the same as reading, but sure beats watching reality TV. Also watch movies on IFC and Sundance. See some pretty off the wall there. My other shows tend to be dramas and morality shows like The Sopranos, Lost, CSI sometimes, but not a lot of the usual network garbage. None of those are good reasons for someone who considers themselves to be well read not to read more, but that's all I got. Now my wife, who didn't read much when in school reads 2-3 novels a week. Goes to the library at least once a week instead off buying. Works well for us as she doesn't particularly like what I watch, and I don't dig Lifetime when she has the remote. We do share a common love of watching basketball, some football if the right teams are playing, and particularly tennis as both of us are avid tennis players. Most sport fans find tennis boring to watch, but if you're a player and know just how much skill is required to play at a high level, its very interesting as its so one on one personal, like boxing was in its prime.
Hope I kept that short enough and to the point for you. I'd hate for you to think I tend to be verbose like our mutual acquaintance Bong is.
