Throughout most of the 2007-08 year, Dominic James played primarily the point guard position and handled the ball.  He is absolutely excellent at it and did not turn the ball over much at all; however, don't you want Dominic to be the team's leading scorer and go to guy?  He was brought here to be a star and showed signs of it as a Freshman and was a scorer.  In the Big East Tournament against ND, Acker was playing well and getting some minutes.  They brought DJ off the ball and he was getting better looks and causing more trouble for the defense.  What do you think his roll should be next year for the Warriors?

If he wants to play in the NBA some day then he will have to be a PG. But in this situation they need to put him at the 2 and let Acker run the point. This will be the best thing for the team. I don't know if it will happen but we will see.

I mean, he can  be your PG, but they should run many set plays where they have Matthews control the ball and get Dominic open and off the ball.  Or when Acker is not in, Cubillan is a good PG, coming off of surgery.  Also, there is probably a chance they may get a strong guard as a Freshman, but they shouldn't rely on it.
