Jeff Taylor (6'7" SF from New Mexico) has committed to Vanderbilt.  He was one of the nation's top unsigned recruits until this week.

The doors now have:

Lance Goulbourne SF/PF

Steve Tchiengang PF

and Jeff Taylor SF coming in next season.  Brad Tinsely (SG) has yet to announce his decision.  This is a HUGE recruiting class for the program!

Once Jeff Taylor officially signs, and if Brad Tinsley commits, Rivals.com says Vandy will have a top 15 recruiting class.  Even without Tinsley, VU has a top 25 class coming in.

HOOAH!!!  This is really exciting news.  I really appreciate you guys keeping everybody up to date on this stuff.  It has been really fun watching  the program develop over the last few years.  We have always had guys that were threats to score because of shooting ability and a disciplined offensive scheme that created opportunities for them.  But now we are getting guys that appear to have the skills to not only take full advantage of the opportunities the offense creates, but also create their own opportunities.  They are also bringing the level of athleticism up much higher than it has probably ever been.  I am really excited about the next few years.  We might finally be getting to a point where we are not living and dying by the 3 pt shot.  Kudos to Coach Stallings and his staff for bringing these kids in.
