	I'm no Herm Edwards fan and King Carl needs to be dethroned. Now after hearing that the Chiefs trade Jared Allen.....a pro bowler, it's nice to see that King Carl will squander these picks and Herm won't have a clue how to coach these chosen rookies. And the hits keep on coming at what used to be a great organization now reduced to........a laughing stock. If you seriously think King Carls picks will be worth anything....take a look at past draft picks and see for yourself....this was a bad bad move.

	This was a great move. At least KC got something for Allen. He would have left next year either way. The Vikings are not a conference threat, so the move really didn't hurt the team in that sense. And Allen had the possibility of being suspended for a year if he ever got caught drinking again. We have 13 selections in this draft, and I'm sure that Carl won't screw all of them up. And correct me if I'm wrong... But didn't Carl draft Allen in the first place?

	How is it a bad move? Allen told the Chiefs he wouldn't sign a long term deal with the Chiefs, this was his final year. They wanted to get something for him before he left next year for nothing.

	Carl Peterson is the worst GM in sports and the most arrogant person I have ever heard talk. I'm happy to have the two 1st rounders now. I hate to lose Allen, but he doesn't want to be in KC. He has made that clear and if he gets another DUI he is gone for a year. Don't go out and celebrate to hard tonight Jared. Chiefs need to grab Chris Long with the #5 pick then grab Jeff Otah or Chris Williams at #17.

	I'm not a fan of either team involved but this trade is definitely going to benefit both. Obviously KC having the 5th and now 17th pick can fill two holes in the first round. Grab an OL and DL or trade the fifth pick and get more picks in the first and second round. After those two picks the Chiefs can try to fill the rest of the holes on the team. Besides I believe Allen was a third or fourth round pick so getting anything in return is great. Plus they knew he wouldn't resign and now they can franchise someone else if they want. For the Vikings they had the league sack leader and team him with two monster defensive tackles. I wouldn't be surprised if Allen hits 20 sacks this year. Granted he has to keep his off field issues low so he plays all 16 games but this could get Minnesota over the hump. Now lets see what they do with the picks they have left in the draft this weekend.

	This was a great move for the Vikes. It was a good move for the Chiefs but they gave in way too soon. Take it from a Vikings fan that devours any info he can get during the offseason... Vikings management was prepared to give up way more... can you say two #1's? Oh well... Chiefs will be sitting at home watching the Vikes in January!

	I agree. bad move on carl's part. Jared Allen was a fan favorite here in KC and i think he was our best player last season. King Carl needs to be taken out back and get 2 in the head for what he's done to this team and the fans. I've never met a Chiefs fan who is proud of the job that Carl is doing/not doing. I did hear through 610 sports that philly was offering lito shepperd and draft picks for allen. that sounds like a much better deal.

	First off jayhawk didn't Carl draft Allen in the first place? Second of all have you even heard how much this guy wanted out of KC? Do you REALLY think that he would help you that much next season? Kansas Ciy is going straight to no where with or without Allen. He wanted out and was not going to be a good piece of a team that needs atleast 3 or 4 years to mature into a contender again. The fact that KC grabbed a first rounder AND two third rounders for this guy is amazing. He has character issues and with the NFL crack down he is one drink away from a year vacation! If Kansas City is serious about rebuilding this team into a contender the next person out the door will be Larry Johnson......

	All of what I just said being out there I have NEVER and will never be a King Carl fan. He might be the worst GM in proffessional sports and is NOT the right guy to rebuild this team. But atleast he shoul
