Hopefully he stays with XU for the 10years.  I dont want to see him pull a thad matta and sign this contract then jump ship a month later.  This is very good Xavier, Miller has a great class coming in this year and I can't wait to see whoelse he recruits the next couple of years.  THe next five years are going to be great. Now if we could just get out of the A-10 so we can get some national respect.

i dont see miller jumping ship.

thats a very long contract, they had to have alot of talk for a 10 year deal to be made.

if you left the a10, what confrence do u think you might go to?

I think the obvious dream conference for us to go into would be the ACC which won't happen.  The Big East would be nice to jump into but they already have too many teams.  I honestly wouldn't mind jumping ship for Conference USA.  You play an extremely good basketball team although you do play somewhat less talented teams than the A-10.  I would say right now the best option for us would be the Big 10

I would love to go to the Big East or the ACC.  I think that would increase are chances of picking up some primetime recruits.  Guys like Beasely, Mayo, and Love dont even look at schools in these smaller conferences like the A10 and other so called "Mid Majors."  Anyways, heres to 10 more 20+ win seasons.  Anyone know the record for the most consecutive 20+ win seasons?

i cant find that record anywhere. i would like to know that as well.

i think the acc would be perfect for xu. i also dont really see xu moving anytime soon.unless there are reports that i am not aware of

If Xavier goes anywhere, it would be to the Big East, i see them splitting in half in the future and adding a few teams to each league.  Xavier won't go to the Big 10 that is a football conference unlike the Big East

I agree with Xavier 513. I think the Big East will split into a football half and non-football half and Xavier would one of a couple teams invited to the non-football half.

If you think about it teams like Providence and Vill' are similar to Xavier school wise but they are considered better jobs than Xavier because of being in a better conference.

I agree, fellas. Sean Miller is a great fit for Xavier. I hope he has a long tenure there. He has done great things with the team, and the future only looks brighter.

As far as a conference move, I'm not sure. Your choices -- Big East or ACC -- probably make the most sense. Would the SEC be out of the question? Cincinnati is not that much further north than Lexington.

Why not the Big Ten?

Go -- in the case of a basketball/football split, what about the schools in the Big East that have success with both, e.g., Cincinnati and Syracuse?
