Looks like Mick has landed his first 5-star recruit at UC. Yancy Gates moved up in the latest Rivals rankings from 81 to 22, and from a 4-star to a 5-star.

Great to see Yancy getting the respect he deserves. He recently played in the Derby City Classic All-Star game at Freedom Hall in Louisville. He scored 19 points and had 10 rebounds and won MVP for his team. He and Ray Shipman also won the 2-0n-2 contest.

This is good for Mick and Yancy.  He definitely deserves to be a 5-Star recruit.  This may convince other really good uncommitted recruits who are interested in Cincinnati to sign their letters of intent.

hell ya

i still wanted hopson here. but that great for mick and yancy.

i just hope we all dont put to much hope on him, since he is only a freshman.

we are coming this year, and we are coming strong!
