Tim Duncan leading the Spurs, then Chris Paul for NO and Josh Howard playing in the starting 5 for Dallas. Great strides for Wake Forest the last 15 years. I love ACC talent!

As a Wake alum, I couldn't agree with you more there Wahoo!  I sure wish the Spurs would have drafted Josh a few years back.  He was available at our pick.  Wake could put together a hell of a starting 5 in the NBA b/t Timmy, Josh, CP3, Songalia (Wizards), and God forbid, that traitor, Loren Woods.  Can you imagine in the day, Dave Odom had starters that included Duncan, Woods and Randolph Childress (if you ever want to see an amazing run of shooting prowess, check out the ACC Tournaments of the mid 90s).  While Dave was a good recruiter going back to his days at UVA, his ability to game coach was very suspect.  I see he finally retired.  Can't say that I understand why anyone would leave Wake Forest to go to South Carolina......

I retract my earlier statement about wish the Spurs had drafted Josh Howard.  Maybe what he said is absolutely true and maybe it was done full well knowing that there is nothing the league can do about it under present rules structures, but how stupid can you be to make the statements he made yesterday.
