Another case of people being ridiculous.  The so-called curses are just stories that sound better later on.  I can't believe a regular jersey just fetched 175,000 dollars.  Go buy a jersey and beat it up yourself.  This curse thing is getting a little too overplayed and I don't know about anyone else,  but I am tired of it.  At least the money went to a good cause that will help many people, that is the only good thing about this.

Well, if you read the article, you'll see that the guy bought the jersey mainly because he wanted to donate the money to the Jimmy Fund.  I'm not sure what's ridiculous about that.

sunshipball,

You completely missed the point the author of this thread was trying to say.

It's rediculous that the jersey was put there in an attempt to curse the Yankees. It's rediculous that people think by removing the jersey that it helped David Ortiz start hitting better. It's rediculous that the jersey has been there since August, but the story broke when the Red Sox and Yankees were starting their first series of the season against one another.

It's rediculous that the Yankees spent $30,000-50,000 to dig it up. It's rediculous that Steinbrenner wants to seek legal action against the guy who did it. It's rediculous the amount of media attention the story is getting.

There are so many things that are rediculous about this story. It, in itself, is rediculous.

The only good thing to come out of it is the money it is raising for charity. That is about the only thing that's not rediculous about this story. Other than that, it's rediculous. The other thing that's rediculous... is the amount of times I've typed rediculous in this post. Rediculous.

Its also "rediculous" that you used the word ridiculous (even though I agree with every sentiment listed here)  and misspelled it every time, now that's rediculous. Just havin' a little fun. sorry.

hahahahah!!!!!

That's really funny. Oops!!! That's not even funny... that's hillarious!!

(Yes, I misspelled that one on purpose.)

I hate it when the Massachusetts accent in me gets in the way of proper English.

You know what that is??? Ree-diculous. Ridiculous. Ridiculous. I'll say it to myself ten times now.

That is too much. No offense taken. I'm bound to screw up and misspell easy words once in a while.

I was going to blame the author of the thread for my mistake but he spelled it right... damn.
